housing in Santa Fe

I have yet to visit santa fe, but have seen some of the homes in this area. downright pretty to Jaw dropping beautiful.

Are homes like these for sale on a regular basis? Would $400,000 be enough to buy a 1600 sq. ft. home here?

Re: housing in Santa Fe

Actually $400,000 will get you a nice house in a good area about 15 minutes out of the downtown area. Plus, you will get at least an acre of land in a place called Eldorado. There are houses in town that are nice and you could buy for $400,000 but no land. Anything near the Plaza is too expensive. ANd there are cheaper houses but in areas that aren't really that great.

It all depends. For 1,600 sq. ft. You might even pay less.
