Im moving to the Upper West Side, Manhattan what is the average rent for a two

also what is the average cost of living?

Search craigslist NY for apartments. I'd guess 3k and up.

The ones I've actually seen are going for between $3,000 and $5,000 a month...especially if they've got any kind of view of Central Park. Don't be surprised if you are required to put down close to $10,000 just to move in (when you factor in first, last, deposit and possibly a Broker's fee...if you're using one)
