| Planning on moving to New York, where is good?
I live in San Diego right now and I wanted to move to New York for a couple years, just for a change. Where do you guys suggest living? I love the city life so anything near a downtown thats not too expensive would be great.

Astoria, Queens....Ten minutes from Manhattan, affordable (for NY standards), great community, diverse (but mostly greek), great places to eat..I'm from the Bronx but love Astoria....Long Island City in Queens is a great area also...Good luck on your move and welcome.
