Relocating to Lake Norman?

I just got back from my trip to NC the Lake Norman area. I thought I would give anyone interested a good tip on a hotel in Lake Norman. I recommend the Best Western Lake Norman. We stayed there for 9 days and it was very clean and comfortable. The location was great. It's located right off of exit 28 and was close to some great restaurants. If anyone is interested in staying there make sure you book online it's a lot cheaper. Our rate was 62.00 a night and that includes breakfast, microwave, refrigerator, internet in the rooms. The staff was very nice and friendly. We felt very much at home. Make sure you check out the Cookhouse restaurant also just down the road at The Shops on the Green. They feature delicious southern home cooked meals very affordable and breakfast all day long. If you are having the Country Boy breakfast you better be real hungry. Ya'll have a nice trip.

Re: Relocating to Lake Norman?

I have been hesitant to say that I am making the big move to NC. Partially because I am so excited and I don't want anything to jinx it. I can't wait to experience the lake life. This is probably going to be my last hera. I absolutely love it there. I am ready to put the feed bag on. They do not feed regular portions there for sure.

Come on down....the weather is great!

A little snow, sleet, rain mixture here in central NC with temps in the mid 30's all day. Maybe some more wintry weather on Sunday.

Did you guys see the challenge duff posted???
