The Palisades. 1,500 acres in a wooded setting by Lake Wylie. It is on the expensive side for the area at about $350k - $2m+, but very nice with mostly large brick homes. I have drove through this development a couple times and it is on my list of favorites. I like that it is set back off the main road more than a mile before the homes start. It has its own country club with a golf course and is supposed to be getting its own private school and harris teeter grocery store eventually. There is a new Super Target, Best Buy, and a bunch of other new stores only about a mile down the road from the entrance. http://www.thepalisades.info/ |
