My Lobo (golden) passed in Nov... I miss him so much. But I am not in a position to get another dog anytime in the next year or so.

Oh I'm sooooo sorry to hear that. I actually had a Samoyed before my beloved Taffy named Lobo and he was hit by a car when he was just a year old. That was very very sad, he was a show dog. I didn't think I could get another after that but then I got my Taffy and I had her for 12 years and she was something else. I'll always have a Taffy sized whole in my heart

And Sir Azi Tuc is a Applehead Sealpoint Siamese.. His head is round unlike the bat looking wedge heads. I looked for him for the longest time. Siamese are vocal and clingy and down right vicious. If I am on the phone too long he will come and start biting the phone and pulling it away from my face with his claws... if that doesn't work he will bite my hand. If I am on the computer too late he will come sit in front of the monitor or bite my fingers as I type. But he is great fun. Loves to play fetch and can be loving when he wants. He is SPOILED beyond belief.

Oh yes the seal point, I had a choice of a seal point or the lynx point(snow tiger) We ended up getting my mom the lynx point. I thought I researched properly but I didn't know they were so agressive. My mom is full of scratches and bites. I told her to get rid of her but my sister who lives with my mom and absoutley loves this crazy cat. Oh I agree no people food, its' not good for them.

Temperament Siamese are affectionate and intelligent cats, renowned for their social nature. They enjoy being with people and are sometimes described as "extroverts." They are extremely vocal, with a loud, low-pitched voice that has been compared to the cries of a human baby, and persistent in demanding attention. They also have a great need for human companionship. Often they bond strongly to a single person. These cats are typically active and playful, even as adults. The social orientation of Siamese cats may be related to their lessened ability to live independently of humans. Siamese coat colouration is appealing to humans, but is ineffective for camouflage purposes. They are less active at night than most cats, possibly because their blue eyes lack a tapetum lucidum, a structure which amplifies dim light in the eyes of other cats. Like blue-eyed white cats, they may also have reduced hearing ability. Therefore, being dependent on humans may have been a survival trait for ancestors of the Siamese.

Interesting. I'm glad she'll mellow as she gets older because she is a handful now

The pups are so white. It must be hard to keep them clean as they get older. How are temperments of Samoys? Most breeds have their good side and their bad. Izzy
