Has anyone recently moved to North Dakota? Do you feel it has been a good decision?

We are moving there soon..we just keep hearing about the cold winters (it's cold here) and the HOT summers, and lack of population. Is there enough to keep you busy?

I actually in Minot, North Dakota. Minot AFB. It gets cold as H*ll up here and i'm from texas so it is crazy to come here from a warm state and have the weather change. There is not a lack of population but there is a lack of entertainment. In minot all there is to do is the mall the movie theatre and the bowling alley. Oh yeah and bingo if you like it. That's literally it!! And if you are underage you can go to canada to drink but dont get caught coming back drunk. Canada is where everyone goes. I think thats why canadians dont like us lol we get into alot of trouble and cause trouble over there.

Every place you move is what you make of it and well North Dakota isnt the best but i've seen worse. If you are military and coming to minot then shoot me an e-mail i can tell you alot
