Moving to North Dakota in 3 weeks?

im a 21yr old guy and dont know anyne there. Was wondering if anyone can tell me a little about the state and the people.

Im moving from New York. Im a Lutheran and attend church weekly.
I hear ya. How about jobs? How long do you think it will take me to find one. And how do you think the people are gonna react to a New Yorker moving into their small town?
Well im a small city kind of guy. New York is to crowded and polluted. Im not into partying or nightclubs, just like the small town feel. My idea of fun is going to church every sunday, or just watching a movie at home.

I know its gonna be pretty tough at first but things will get easier.

I am originally from ND...where are you moving to?? It's a friendly state....gets very cold in the winter....usually have quite a bit of snow...
I lived in Edgeley....40 miles South of Jamestown...used to go to Jamestown shopping... you will probably be bored....not much happening....it's a small town...don't know anything about the churches there....
I think there are jobs there...depending on what you are looking for....by small town I mean like 15,000 people or so. There are several manufacturing places, ND state hospital, a school for handicapped people, a medical hospital, etc. I don't think it will be hard to find a job....there's also a college there.
What would make a New Yorker move to ND?? I don't think people there will think anything of it.
