How much would it be for gas to move from Dayton, OH to San Francisco, CA?

I have a job offer in San Francisco but I have to pay the moving fees first (before reimbursement after I start). They didn't know but maybe someone can point me in the right direction?

I'm going to use a 16 foot moving truck with a towing car carrier. It's saying roughly 1500 miles from Dayton to San Francisco, if that helps any. What is the gas mileage I'm likely to get and what is the total capacity of the tank on the 16' truck?

Also, is there anything I should take into consideration while moving? Any laws (besides the obvious), snow chains, anything of the such??

Thanks for any help and replies.

What type of gasoline, regular or premium, or diesel?
At $3.00 per gallon and 5 mpg, you are looking at 300 gallons, and
1500/5=300 x $3 = $900.00
Is my math correct?

Those 16 FT truck you get from U-haul are run by gas, and usually get 8 to 10 miles per gallon, and can hold 30 to 40 gallon, now the average gas price is $3.19, so you can figure out the price tag.

If you worry about too much, why don't give moving comany, they can pack and move for you, it takes $2000 to $3000 for them anyhow.
