Moving to Oklahoma City, is it nice there?

Ok so my husband is most likely going to get a job in Oklahoma City (Norman, actually) and I wanted to hear from people who live there. Is it nice? I have been there but not stayed, just passed through a few times. Do you like it? Where are some nice neighborhoods (and by nice I don't mean way expensive lol, just not ghetto). We are going to look for an apartment, not a house yet. What are some fun things to do there? We like to do outdoors type stuff (biking, hiking, camping, etc) so I hope there are some places close by. Any info would be much appreciated!

The Oklahoma Ocean is really nice this time of year.

Oklahoma City is awesome. There's tons of really cool museums and other things to do. The tornadoes aren't much to worry about, unless you live in a trailor or a house without a basement. But they don't have houses in Oklahoma without basements. All of the neighborhoods are pretty nice, and the housing prices are really good. There's quite a few places for hiking and camping.
