Bad tornado in Oklahoma, where is a good place to move?

I am sick of the tornados!!!!!!!! Calif. has earthquakes, floods and fires. Where can we go not a big city where I can take my family to get away from the destruction and fear we go through every spring here. One went over us not touching down and forget frieght train, it was like a jumbo jet landed in our back yard. Where is a good place to live that is safe?

I know my neighbors are cleaning up after that terrible storm that hit us Wednesday night at 7:30 that is when the clocks stopped. They went over touching down in several spots but to be under one was so scary as to make me want to move to. We are looking into Santa Rosa New Mexico.
All the friends were out today to see how we were doing. It is a miracle that our house is still standing. I felt like from the noise that when we came out there would be nothing left.
We were without power until today and everything in refrigerator and freezer was ruined. But we came out with our lives. Our neighbors have roofs ripped off and windows broken out the houses were full of broken glass. Cubboards ripped off the walls and food all over the floor.
They were the fortunate ones, the others had their whole houses taken away. We did not even make the news.
Nothing was even said about us and our loss because we were a network of small towns with 300 population or less.
Lequire was completely destroyed and it did n't even get a mention. Many in McAlester Oklahoma are still without power and many lost their homes. We did not even get a mention on CNN. So we do not even know the damage that resulted from this terrible storm.
But it is enough to make us want to move and a lot of other people.

NC! Ive lived here all my life and now Im moving to Kansas, right in Tornado Alley. So it could be like we are switching. North Carolina is beautiful. Youve got the mountains on one side and the beach on the other. If you live in the middle your only about 3 hrs from each! Dont worry about Hurricanes though, they're not as bad around here as everyone says. A bad one hasnt come through in about 6 years! NC is a great place to raise a family in beauty instead of destruction!
