| Re: Oklahoma Declares Sovereignty Well - it's something I like to see from a State - but I'm not sure where to file this one. 1) It's good to see Okrahomer "join arms" with Texas ... not that they'd make great allies or anything (although, being neighbors, it's a large chunk of control). We all know - or should, by now - that Texas could shut it's borders at almost anytime and subsist on their own invention. For Okrahomer to claim the same would be closer to folly. However, combined, all can survive. 2) Always remember that Oklahoma is a Native American State! Now, I'm not sure how that figures into the state legislature - those few million Native A's are probably represented by half-a-thousand White boys and girls ... but never underestimate the velocity and force of empowered Tribes! I'm talking nuclear bows-and-arrows here, folks. 3) Poster ... what is it you're saying has begun? Several options to choose from, i.e., Stopping illegals, stopping the highway, stopping a government who always manages to get twelve fingers in every pie, starting a revolution, eventual secession and/or a movement towards regional government under the continued heading of "The U.S. of A." Which are you speaking of? Oklahoma is probably my next destination if I can adapt my thinking to the heat and my wind-filters to the tornadoes ... and my firewood bundle to the winter ice-storms ... if I can find that land over east there that I'm hoping for. I like the idea of it being a foreign country ... heck, couldn't hurt ... after all ... it's Okrahomer!

| Re: Oklahoma Declares Sovereignty ![]() Ah, spoken pretty-much like a true Texan. Good luck with that "Desert" thing. Y'know, if they could just drop something on East Texas from the air that caused it to "Genesis" all the way across the state ... it'd sure fix some visibles regarding Texas! Raise the humidity too much though - and make it harder to bug zap .......... Ahem ....... has nobody thought of this before? Giant bug-zappers hanging along the Rier Grander? Say ... about 5'9" tall and dressed to look like sandwich machines? Or Cola machines? Or water fountains? Hmmmmm ... this sounds suspiciously like something PDX was offering in another post. Careful TalkStates ... looks like the liberals are coming up with Republican ideas!!
