| Winter Camping in Oregon A few people have told me short stories about winter-camping in northern Oregon - near Tillamook. I wonder, what are some of the laws governing winter-camping in the state. Does it ever get cold enough to take the "wet out of the wetlands"? Will a tent suffice or must one confine winter-camping to Van, Camper shell or Trailer? Can one get a motorhome into low-mountain areas in winter? Where are some good spots for such endeavors?
One person was telling me about camping above Tillamook by a river and how they spent Christmas day one year totally alone in the pristine, alone with his gear and catching Salmon. Sounds like a wonderful day.
