| Big Thunder Storm. 1.5" Hail!!!
Lightening and thunder and they have said penny, quarter, and 1.5" diameter hail in the area. I love a good storm!!! They actually did an emergency broadcast on the radio.

I can understand the storm but isn't the large hail a rarity in your area? I lived there for a year and the most I saw was heavy sleet.

Well PD, sitting here 45 miles away, we got a little thunder and some rain. Never did hear any hail. I think I've seen penny-size hail here or at the beach. I also recall the baseball-size stuff (softball) in Oklahoma that they had to call the snowplows out for ... both of them. Hang in there PD - sail 'er this way, we'll snag ya as you go by.

Interesting time of the year for a storm! Just keeps filling up Bull Run, lucky you, hey are you following the mayor race in Portland?

Yea I see he won the majority so there will not be a run off. How are people feeling about not having much of a choice. I think he feels entitled to it due to his years with Vera (former mayor) BTW to other readers, Mr. Adams is an openly gay man so his election is a reason for discussion among my Oregon friends. He comes with a bit of baggage and did not have much in the way of opposition. He is a big supportor of projects that require large cash.

A very popular person in the town where I live is a former mayor. Someone who is trusted and whose word is always considered. Cross-dresser ... and whatever goes along with it. Grown. I grew up back east. This is not the Ohio I was raised with. I'm glad to see some of the planet has progressed beyond silly barriers. Not sure I can. I suppose so - it's my generational duty - but I'm not sure.

Trust me he has a protection barrier around him. the ### will hit the fan eventually. Do you remember mayor Bud Clark? My kind of guy, everyone has tried to be him since then. Toot Toot. For the other readers mayor Clark posed facing a piece of art with a trench coat on and the caption "expose yourself to art", he was what a politician should be, a fun figurehead.
