OK, I am looking for a resale!!!!

We are going to be going up to PA the second week of January and looking for a nice resale with some property. The home building idea has been squashed for now. The contractors are crazy! Their prices are off the charts.
We are looking for a 3 bedroom, basement an acre or more in the areas between Scranton and Honesdale.
Let me know if you know of anything available.

Hi guys!

We are back in Florida and can't wait to leave! It's so darn hot down here.

We found a wonderful resale in Tunkhannock Pa. which is west of Scranton.
The house is a large ranch on 3 acres. I am so excited.

Pat, I am so thankful to you for giving me the info on Mary and Jack Fitzgerald. They are wonderful. That whole office is great.
We are in contract on the house and waiting for the radon test to be done.
It should be done by tomm. The septic tank needs to be changed and the owner is getting quotes to get it changed. Hopefully all will work out.
We should be up there within the next 4 to 6 weeks. I wish we were moving out this week LOL

The area is wonderful. Lots of great shopping close by, yet we have tons of privacy and boy what a view from the property.

I can't wait till the closing, then I will be able to rest easy.

Hi and glad to hear you found something! You sure sound excited. I was thinking about you all week wondering how things were going. I guess we won't be neighbors but I am glad you finally found the home you were searching for. Good Luck with your move.

Thanks! I'm going off topic here but both of the horses in my avatar are blind. We have the 2 big ones and 7 miniatures. Two of the minis are dwarves and have special needs also. PM me if you have any questions.

Pat you aren't that far away. It's just a hop and skip through the mountains.
It takes us about 55 minutes using Rt. 6 into Honesdale. If we take 590 it's even faster across :)

We can meet in the middle for our lunch :)

I'm beyond Honesdale from where you are moving to though. It will be closer to a 1 1/2 hr drive I believe.

That is a very nice area, and very pretty! I used to visit Skyhaven airport, just west of town, which is a very cool place.

It is a beautiful area. You can see for miles and miles out back on the deck.
