Nice!! The home page needed a nice photo. It has been looking rather boring lately (hint, hint Admin)

Hey PDX, that photo is a bit blurring but it's still nice. It's been real quiet here I see. I have been busy around the house and outside in the gardens. Springtime is a tough time being on a computer!

Hi everyone, well I have been so busy with fixing up the house with DH. I also have been working at the Petlodge and now I am babysitting in the afternoons... here's a new photo for you guys!

Flat property in the hills is sometimes a great feature. Where we live...The CA foothills...to have flat land is a real estate plus. Many of the homes in our area sit on steep hill sides, pretty, but not useable land...and really hard to maintain with any kind of tractor/mower. Pretty spot garden gal. Izzy

Having worked in Hazard Mitigation, I soon learned that there is no such thing as landslide insurance. If your house is at the top of a hill, on a hill, or at the bottom of a hill and is damaged by moving earth/rock/whatever from a landslide, it comes out of your pocket.

Hi everyone. Well we have had tons of work going on at the house. Now we are remodeling the basement and living room. Never done! My property isn't that flat! That's just the back portion of the rear gardens. We have hills and mountains all around the house in the front and also along the drive. My posts are low because I have been such a busy girl! LOL
