Northeast PA

Hello all,
Would love to hear from anyone regarding anything about Northeast PA. We will be building there soon (Pike County to be specific) and love to read about NE PA from any locals there! The info from the local residents is invaluable! Anything about places to eat, shop, visit, etc is much appreciated. Look forward to any and all replies!

Hi, we are building also in NEPA. We are looking in Pike/Wayne/Susquehanna and the Scranton areas for property. We are looking in Tink-Wig and Tanglewood North and then at rural property.
There are alot of great places to eat up there. Try Gresham's Chop House,
The pizza parlor next door to Gresham's is great, There's a chinese buffet in Honesdale, it's not bad but there are other restaurants near Scranton.
We are coming up at the end of next week to look at the properties.
Our house is sold and we are ready to buy :)

We are from Baldwin, Long Island, New York. Can't wait to build in PA...very excited!
