New home sales

I have hear nice things about Rhode Island and have see beautiful pictures of the area.

My question is, what kind of budget would I need to buy a new home on at least one acre that would be considered in the country, but with a city (mid sized at least) nearby?

My only criteria is that there not be anybody who is a moderator, or have the name markablue in the same area.

I don't know for absolute sure but I do know RI is not very cheap. I'd say at least $300k.
