Moving to Myrtle Beach? It's a boring question but I need some input!?

Thinking of moving to Myrtle Beach from Virginia, closer to the north side. I just want to know, is it good living down there? Is it crowded and full of traffic? Are the houses HUGE or average? And, is it easy to find a job that pays more than $10/hr?

Hi...I don't think it is a boring question and I am wishing I was in your shoes. I want to move there also. I go every year on vacation and have researched the very questions you are asking.....The houses are average.....they aren't huge. Wages are lower there and it is hard to find a job paying over $10. I was planning to work two jobs when I go. I think it would be great living down there. I live in Minnesota and want out of the cold. I don't know where in VA you are. It is crowded during tourist season and bike week is god awful to drive around in. But they are building roads all the time and the traffic is slowly getting better. Homes are most expensive east of Hwy 17 (Kings Hwy) as that is the beach side. Hope this info helps :)

I'm from South Carolina and have been to cherry hill which is in northern Myrtle Beach and it is beautiful and you can find a house of whatever shape or size just like anywhere,as far as jobs i'm sure u could find one that pays what u need to live on for a month so Welcome to my State!!!
