Moving from Tennessee to Michigan?

I was born in Michigan and my parents moved us to Tennessee when I was 12. Its been 10 years and now all the reasons that we moved here are gone, and it is just me and my mother here in Tennessee. So I asked here if she would like to moved back to Michigan and she said that if I did all the research then she would think about it. So this is what I need to know:
1. What is minimum wage?
2. Average rent in Macomb, MI
3. How high is the Crime rate
4. What is the Gas Price
5. How is the Jobs, (I don't care where I work) is it easy to find a job. Even if its Mc D's
6. How is the traffic
7. What is the average utility Price, like gas, water and electric.
8. How is the state insurances.

Thank You so much for who ever helps me. I've been waiting for the day I get to move back home.

are you sure your not talking about my situation.i moved here at 12[tennessee from warren mi] and i have hated tennessee ever since.i went back to mich. last year and fell in love with it all over.the rent in a 2 bedroom app ran from 500 and up.and the crime rate was out of this world.the traffic was no problem.sorry i cant answer more of your questions,all my family are still their in Shelby Twp,and they have it made.what part of tennessee do you live? i am in Cumberland co.good luck to you
