Should a California boy move to Tennessee?

I live near Sacramento, California. My dad lives in Tennessee and has invited me to move down there because he has a separate garage with an apartment on top. It would be rent free while I go to college. The thing is I don't know anyone down there and it seems like all anyone does down there is get drunk and mess around with there quads.
I am afraid I might be bored out of my mind because I am too much of a city boy. Well, Sacramento, CA isn't too much city there is a lot of open area too, but there is a lot of stuff to do here.

Give me some input people.

This answer totally depends on what area, you would actually be moving to.

If I were you I'd stay where I was. Go and see your dad for holidays.
