Although I hardly know a thing about Houston, downtown is beautiful. One of my uncles lives in Katy and that place is excellent, especially beacuse it is only just newly been settled in. The houses are large, with enough space for a large family.

Houston traffice is a night mare. If you moved to Katy you would have to travel the Katy Freeway and that's the worst one. Tomball is a nice place, dont know much about Spring. We live in Dayton, about 50 miles out. Actualyy, we live in Tarkington, which is out in the country. Very nice.

It all depends on how you like to live. All of the suburban towns are far from the city tself and traffic is a nightmare during rush hour. Almost all cultural events are in the city, as well as the bestrestaurants, museums, etc. If you will be working in Houston be sure your car is in good working order as well. Good luck to you and welcome!
