Moving to Fort Worth.?

Thinking of moving to Fort Worth Texas. Does anyone have any good ideas on how to go about doing this? I mean like...what would you do first? Get a job, buy a home? Where can I find information on the property taxes, utility bill averages, sales taxes, residency registration...etc... I just want to pick up and leave right now. But that isnt possible. Got to have a job and a place to live. Looking to move within a year. How much would you guess someone needs to save for a move like this? Just some general ideas. I am very eager to move there and very excited about it.

I'd rent a home, and have a job in the running when you get there. Live there a year and see if its really where you want to live, and if so then buy a home. I would say 3000 to 5000 if your single of married. It can be done for much less, I moved to Gulfport MS on 1500 bucks, but I had a job and a house I rented online.
