Census: Texas is the hot place to live - Yahoo! News

Texas has some very good qualities especially for those saddled with a lot of debt who live in expensive places in the USA. You can find an economy that is very reasonable to live in. I believe a lot of people are scarfing up homes here because of the lower prices.

Absolutely not. I hate Texas. Big hats, huge egos and empty heads in a dust bowl. Is it any wonder Bush calls it home?

No, I moved out of Texas.

Its too hot, too dry, and in many parts you have to speak Spanish. I like gardens and you can't have a good one in Texas. In Texas the Summers go on and on and on... We used to get about 30+ days a years with temperatures over 100 degrees.

I'd much rather live somewhere where there are mountains, trees, green landscapes, and four seasons.
