Well what are you into. Vt has Mt's Lakes And small towns. It is a very liberal state and very nice ppl as well. I personaly like the water falls on RT 7 But there is Ben and Jerry's, VT teddy Bear, VT state parks. Defanetly Ricker Pond IN GROTON STATE FOREST Than you have Burlington For shopping and Champlain Lake. Again it depends on what you consider fun.

Ok that would best be done in the north east part of the state. Check out Ricker Pond Camp ground it is a VT state park and little honesty it is the best VT state park I have found. Been going there for 6 years now on Vacation. for camping on the 4th. That also puts you on Groton state forest RD in the fall and near all the Nature trails and close to the water falls. Watch out for the moose as they tend to wander down the RD in the summer and fall. But nature is abound in this area of the state. With Covered wooden Bridges and meadows with Deer and leaves changing color in the fall. yup this is your best bet for Nature in VT. Oh don't forget to Drive up Owls Head you have to hike a Very Little but the View is awsome on a clear day.

I like the Bennington to Rutland area. Killington is nice, too. I've stayed at The Summit Lodge in Killington several times. They have a website. There are several good places to eat in Rutland. The Maple Museum is nice, too. I like Middlebury, too. There are some neat shops. |
