Re: Charlottesville area

Been through there and the only thing that I really remember is stopping in a diner to eat and I can't tell you which it was but we asked a lot of questions and the people were really helpful. And we saw some beautiful buildings.

Re: Charlottesville area

It's near the Skyline Drive, which is pretty in the fall when the leaves change colors.

It's full of hills and some mountaintains. It's near some ski resorts.

It's a pretty area.

You can get there on I-64 West.

If you're into needlepoint, there are a couple of good needlework shops.

Skyline Drive is a beautiful area to be in. I-64 is also a nice running road.
You go through alot of those mountains like Needle mentions.

Re: Charlottesville area

There is a German restaurant near C'ville called The Bavarian Chef. It is quite good.

There are other good restaurants in the area including The Boarshead Inn.
