...moved to Virginia Beach and my hus band is going on deployment in june. I just would like to meet a wife of a sailor to hang out with

Did it many years and put my wife in that position. I understand a lot of what goes on. It's not easy for a deployed sailor and a stay at home spouse. I don't mean you don't work, I just mean you didn't deploy with him.

Start with the Officer's Wives Club. If you don't make any friends there, they may be able to point you in the right direction. You can also get an address list and send invitations to a home party (Pampered Chef, Party Light) or mixer.
