If I get my learners permit in Florida and I move to Virginia...?

Do I have to apply for a Virginia learners permit and do the whole 6 months over again?

you are required to apply for your permit in Va.they may credit you for the time youve already driven on ,or they may not.whatever you do,dont get caught driving on a permit outside the issuing state,or youll be waiting a hell of alot longer to get a d/l.

You do have to apply for a Virginia lerners permit, but I'm not sure that you'd have to start over again.

But you should know, it is not legal for you to drive with a learner's permit in any state other than the one that issued it.
