| suburbs of Richmond
Seem like Richmond is very spread out. I see other area (cities?) such as Laurel, Lakeside, Tuckahoe, East Highland park and highland springs that appear to be the "burbs" of richmond. Any of these considered to be on the "other side of the track"? does each area have its own "flavor"? How is the commute to downtown Richmond?

Lakeside used to be a nice area. Tuckahoe is in the west end of Richmond. The commuting is h--- no matter where you live in Richmond. The Fan District is interesting. It's also where the main campus of VCU is located. MCV/VCU is way downtown. |
