Seattle Home Show

So, are any of you home show groupies? My company has a booth there, so I am at both the fall and the spring show. When I get a chance to walk around, every year it's the same guys, same products, same everything it seems.

But the people come in droves to spend money on stuff that glitters and shines and makes their home look fine!

If you do go, be sure to stop by my companies booth (we're the big utility company). If you're (un)lucky enough to be there friday or Saturday afternoon or evening, you may just catch a glimpse of THE dufferz (stop by and say howdy!)

Re: Seattle Home Show

We always wanted to go to that show - and planned on it, then things would happen and we couldn't make it.

Our last few years there, we had such a cosmetic fixer upper mess of a house, that we really wanted to get ideas...

Re: Seattle Home Show

I've tried to go to the local one here in Idaho and it never seems to work with my schedule. Maybe I'd have better luck trying to get to Seattle's?

Re: Seattle Home Show

My friend wen to the last one and said it left a lot to be desired. Very unlike the home shows we were used to in CA.

Are you at all the shows or did you just get "lucky" enough to do this one?

I am sure that compared to California what we have up here is pretty small town. If can imagine Hot tubs as far as the eye can see, kitchens galore and all, this is the Seattle home show. If you need something, not a bad place to go, but my favorite place is upstairs where they have all the slicers and dicers.

I work the show every year. I am a 27 year vet with the company and know just about everything there is to know about my industry.

Yes,

talking is my speciality and I enjoy educating people. We usually have candy, so I stay on a sugar high the whole time, and then I keep a special supply of chocolates so I can hand them out to the kids who are being good.

It's a lot of fun.

hehehehehe.

Remember, I've seen a pic of you. You don't belong anywhere near Lane Bryant.

This year they did not supply candy, so I think I will have to visit the store and buy my own.

I'll save you a special dark. (my favorite).

glad you found that such a treat... So did my friend taking the picture! It was actually some town charity fundraiser and you could pay to have someone locked up or to bail them out. I love my friends!!!
