I wonder if the Olympic National Park claims "rain forest honors," above the rest of the rain forest, because it gets the most rain, on the southwest side.
Rainfall Map of the Pacific Northwest
For example, Quilleute got over 6" of rain yesterday, and over 5", during one 24-hour period, last week. The Hoh rain forest can get up to 200" of precipitation, per year.
Does any other part of Cascadia get this much rain?
