deciding if i should move to everett, washington....whats it like?

i currently live in orange county, cali and i hate it!! yes...someone actually doesn't like cali. its very expensive and very congested. my boyfriend is planning on moving to everett in august of 08' and i'm not sure if i want to move with him. i'm originally from northern arizona where it rains and snows. i know "it rains a lot" which i can get used too but would it be difficult to find a job....whats the pay rate of maybe an office job.......whats renting an apartment like.....i heard its "ghetto"......whats the crime rate.....traffic......how cold does it get.....whats the night life like.....any other opinions would be greatly appreciated!!!

p.s. bf plans to move to south everett......
