We have had an incredible amount of snow in the cascades. This has been one heckofa winter. Snoqualmie pass (I-90) has only been shut down for avalanch control... what a job to have. Load this small cannon, blow holes in the snow and make a snow slide. And they pay to have this person do this. NO FAIR! Anyway, this pass is the best groomed in the state due to the heavy amount of traffic, so closures are rare. The other passes have been opened and closed off and on, but not bad. They are used to clearing lots of snow. This year, though, it's lots and lots of snow! |

That's it, I'm going home. We have just inches here and NO cascades. It's funny you mentioned Snoqualmie pass. My sister just moved to SNOQUALMIE St. in Seattle. Her first APT. lol Hope the area is better than it was back when I was there. I know your my big brother but stop worrying about me I'm A woman now. LOL Man I miss her.

A really useful (though fairly graphics-intensive) site for Snoqualmie Pass conditions is I90 Traveler Information There's a drop-down menu for other routes for which it has information. |
