What is a Good neighborhood to live if moving to Seattle?

Pretty much want to move to an area that is safe, somewhat affordable, and near public transportation. Have never lived there before and only visted once.

Kirkland (a bit expensive), Redmond (more affordable and near Microsoft campus), Woodinville (nice affordable houses, nice area), Bellevue (also nice and affordable) and surrounding areas are nice places to live. Generally, north east of Seattle is good. Hope this helps!

Erin, are you considering Bellevue and woodinville as affordable... for what? Houses in bellevue start at $700,000, Woodinville is $500,000 and up. You want somewhere to live... try snohomish county to the north.
