Question He left me for my EX bestfriend, he said i hurted him with the things i did and said and i admit i did, but that never gives him the lead way to talk to someone that was my BESTFRIEND!!!!! ME and him broke up because i needed to get myself together, car, home, etc, and stop depending on him.......we tried to work things out but after me he started to become a criminal, i dont like the new him just the old him.....but hes now in jail for arm robbery as well as violation of probation>>>>YEA I KNOW SOUNDS AND LOOKS BAD.... my question is do you think i should write him or see him before i leave and tell him how i feel, or just move on and see him like 8 years from now cause its my choice because hes not eligible for bond and hes looking to do some real time help me

Walk away, don't look back, don't even think about that chance to gloat in eight years. Move and leave no forwarding address. Get your butt out of that meatgrinder before the crank turns any further.

Think about it coolly: what possible good could happen to you if you do contact him? Certainly nothing tangible, and it sounds most likely to just result in an emotional chewing-up that won't help your heart or life one iota. Getting yourself clear, getting your life in order, and into a stable, straight life seems much more possible without any hint of a felon messing with your mind.

I would have to agree with this, as well as add that you need to maybe talk to a pro therapist to see why you have a self esteem problem that causes you to be attracted to people like the one you described. Most people would barely raise an eyebrow over a person like that and be thankful they don't even know them - you're wrestling with whether to get back together with someone like that? It's not an insult - for real - seek a professional to discuss this or you life is going to be one of these after another regardless of where you live.

Thanks for the agreement on this one. I hate to see women who waste their lives on idiots, and this is coming from a guy... who hates idiot guys who don't treat the ladies well, but can't understand why ladies take it. baffling!
