I've lived in Seattle for 26 years. I'm ready for a change so I'll be moving in about 2010 or so.
But to answer your question, YES. You should move here. Its a fabulous city and western WA has SO MUCH to do.
Its a total lie about the rain. New York and Chicago get just as much rain, if not more, as we do.
I visit Denver about twice a year(have a friend there) and I do have to say, I like it here better than there. The landscape is much prettier here and there seems to me more of a variety of things to do.
Anyway, Good luck with your decision.

yes, it never rains in Seattle, sun 365 days of the year... above the cloud cover... which would be about 40,000 feet.

But.... the Pacific Northwest gets less sunlight throughout the year than other parts of the country (we are VERY grey), and the drizzle... drizzle.... drizzle... drizzle.... drizzle.... grey..... drizzle. They might as well start handing out razer blades or nooses to people as they move here. And people wonder why Oregon has the assisted suicide law.....

Hey speak for your self (and several million others). Western Washington is bad except for two locations which are a secret, where the weather is nice most of the time, but everyone ignores the east side of WA and OR where the weather is very nice... even below 60,000 feet.

Re: Should I move from Denver to Seattle????

Bonus points to PDX. This is a much better place than Squim, but neither would be a place I would live. They tout the lack of rain, but what they don't tell you is that when western washington is cloudy... so are they. So, they get the gloom but a lot less rain, so they are gloomy with brown vegetation. How special!

San Juans have a weird feel to them. They feel "dead". Hard to explain but they lack any feel to them at all. No energy.

The poeple there are odd... new age, island centric. Yeah, you don't feel too welcome as an outsider.
