S'up with This Weather

Enough already. last saturday we had tempuratures in the mid 70's. Ok, it's april and we welcome spring... Right. Today I saw:

Sun
Rain
hail
snow (we have about 2 inches in Bothell)
lightning

Well, just bundle up, I guess winter wants to meet summer... and beat the crap out of it!

Re: S'up with This Weather

Saw the pics of your snow by Seattle - quite a site.
There really haven't been a lot of adjustment problems in moving from the Rockies to the Northwest for me ... this would be normal at 6000+ feet elevation.
They were showing snowstorms over the ocean last night - which they said is rare.
Let's get this one bundled up quick and send it over to 53 and on to those folks in Ohio who get a little nervous at Earthquakes - give them something new to think about.
Ski Day!

Re: S'up with This Weather

Weather guesser already said that we're screwed. What you guys are getting is going to build up and then dump in this direction.

Forecast for Kalispell Mt is 8-15 inches of snow, 60 mph winds, Blizzard Warning out.

Our weather guesser is a little more optomistic and says that what you guys are sending us is only going to give us a 70% chance of snow tomorrow. Course, it's 71 degrees right now. haha

Go ahead and keep it for a day or two and let it use itself up.

Somebody said they had snow at their house this morning at the other end of town. Wasn't snowing while we were there - in fact, not even much rain. However, our cold night and best chance is tonite and tomorrow - so, as for a few hundred miles south of Duff & Azi ville, we seem to be "holding up" our end.
If I can catch 'em, I'll sign a few snowflakes for ya ... and don't forget to share with McGowdogg.

Re: S'up with This Weather

we got it starting last night... On and off. Hail so thick I could not see across the street. Then snow... then hail...then sleet... more snow...then the sun came out! Wait...looks like more snow on the way!

Re: S'up with This Weather

even got snow this morning, but nothing stuck. It's cold enough to be cold enough to be winter.

Re: S'up with This Weather

If it helps, we got ours this morning.
Started as sleet and soon we had flakes the size of postcards.
Not for long though - turned to sleety-snow again and fizzled then hailed a couple of times.
It's all this global warming.
