Tacoma

What about Tacoma? Noone ever talks of Tacoma. I have a claim to fame there. Everyone thinks it is in seattle but it is not. I Ya me Was on the crew that sheetrocked a house that was in a Hit movie that even if they didn't like the movie they loved the house and MY work well ok our work Me and the crew I worked with was seen all over the world. Can anyone name the movie? Give ya a little hint I had a big HAND in lumpin the sheets up as I was young and a laborer. But I hung them as well. LOL

LOL - I was thinking of Edward Scissorhands but maybe I'm wrong...
I went to Tacoma last year when I took my daughter to a Green Day concert at the Tacoma Dome. We stayed at a hotel right down the street from the dome. I thought Tacoma seemed pretty okay as a town - we drove around a little and found the Tacoma mall which was nice. Also drove to an area where there were lots of old buildings & museums and a colored glass display that was really cool. I was only there for 2 days, so can't comment too much about Tacoma. Oh, the worst part was trying to leave and get back to I-90. I think it took almost 2 hours just to get out of Tacoma & Seattle and finally hit some open road.

Hows the Aroma, in Tacoma? =) I hear they have cleaned it up some, and the smell is not as bad as it used to be.. I guess the shutting of paper mills helped?

Yup that's it . I Helped sheet rocked the house they Bought in the movie. As I said I was Mainly a Lumpa. It ove3r looks the city and the Water. But in the Nursery is the best View. LOL I'm Good. I was in Harry and the Hendersons 2. I ran a red light and it was caught in the background. lol Funny thing is I ran the red light to see what they where filming.

I remember driving through when I was a kid. It's hard to hold your breath that long.

The smell is gone 99% of the time, but the reputation lives on!
