difference between seattle and Bellingham

A popular location for moving is Bellingham. Here is an insite on this location

There is a difference between the "feel" of Seattle and Bellingham. Bellingham and surrounds are more small town and older homes in the 'burbs.

If you like a nightlife then Seattle will offer more. If you want more house for the bang, Bellingham, but not by much compared to what you get. Commute is not good in Seattle.

Bellingham will offer more housing choices because you can span out in a bigger radius due to the better commute. I would say the cost of living compared to the salary differences would probably make living in both areas about the same.

If you want to look at living her, take the time to come up and visit both areas before, you will get a good idea of how things look here. The distance between the two cities is about a 90 minute drive.

Bellingham is beautiful and I hear there are a lot of "Retired Hippies" there. How cool is that!!!

It really does have that laid back small town feel.

I personally like the "buzz" of Seattle.

Yeah, me too. I was old enough to remember it, not old enough to participate in it. That was probably a good thing.

I remember the whole bra burning thing, and for the life of me, even at that young age, I thought "I would like to go to one of those..."
