If you like antique shopping this is the place to go!!! There are streets and streets of shops and little cafes for eating. I love going and spending the whole day there. Now for someone who doesn't like to shop... This I do like! Ahhh the treasures I have found in Snohomish. Does anyone else know where else in WA I can spend the day antiquing?

I once had a girl friend who was into antiquing. I'm not (but perhaps could sometime in the future). But I remember going with her --it was the "Okay, I'll tag along but don't expect me to be enthusiastic about anything" attitude-- when she'd want to go "shopping." The places that come to my mind right off are Langley --on Whidbey-- and Wenatchee. They seemed to have multiple shops where she got excited looking at "stuff." If I remember additional places, I'll come back and post ...because there were more but I just can't remember them now. But both Langley and Wenatchee don't comare with Snohomish. In fact, I don't think anywhere in the state will compare with Snohomish when it comes to those small antique shops. --'rocco |

leave it to me to find the best place first so I don't have anything to look forward to. I have to say your comment made me curious... you are not into antiquing but perhaps could be in the future? Ummmm are you saying it is for older people? Hmmmm????? Did you just call me old? Where is my whip!!!!!

hahahahahahaaa ...how in the world did you read THAT into it? No, I just figured if I had more time and money *maybe* I could get into it. I'm slowing getting the "more time" part but the "more money" part could take awhile. --'rocco |

I would love to see WA. We have tons of antique stores in Pa. and I can't wait to shop. I want to buy the old milk jugs, wagon wheels, etc.

The star mall in snohomish is the best concentration of stores and my favorite place to wonder around. Great place, but I prefer the feel of LaConner.
