Was looking around and noticed noone had posted here yet so. Some nice little facts about this scenic little state of almost 2 million. Did you know that that little pan handle in the northern part of the state is 1 real big Salt bed. Ya over 50 feet thick, and the state itself is thought to have enough Salt to keep Us in the USA with salt for 2000 years, ya 2000 years. Pass the state I mean salt. They produce 600,000 to 1 million tons per year. Aside from that, they are the home state of Amazon.com and Toyota USA. Anyway enough little trinkits. If you ever want to enjoy life Check out the White Water rafting here it is AWSOME. And after you and the misses get done. There is this nice little place in Berkeley Springs, called Coolfont, they call it a resort. Actually it is a perfect getaway from the real world. And the wife will LOVE you even more if you go AFTER the white Waster Rafting lol. Check it out you will not want to leave this Charming Scenic State of WV

I don't know WV very well but I did spend a week at the University... talk about party!!! When they found out I was from the Palm Springs area of CA they treated me like I was famous and I ate it up!!! But then I was only 17 and thought I was all that and then some! LOL My friend stayed to go to school there and I came back to San Diego State.. she called to complain about the weather and I told her I couldn't talk because I was late to a beach party!!!! Woooooooooooooowhooooooooooooooo On a more serious note... that is some really pretty country!!!!

Hang on, are you saying that the whole pan handle is salt? If so, is it one big salt mine? Can't imagine trying to live and grow anything on this kind of soil. Would be nice to never have to shop for table salt...

| That depends on where you are and what you do. There are jobs everywhere. But you don't go to WV to work as a Oceanographer. there is alot of High teck work there and Minning, and tourisim. the list goes on and on.
