Should my husband, daughter, and I move to Chicago, IL or Green Bay, WI?

I'm from Green Bay so I know it well. I think the people are nice and it's a good setting for a family. I have family in Chicago though and there are more job opportunities there, but the crime is higher and I don't really know the area and that makes me nervous. Anyone who has been to both or either have an opinion? Oh, and please don't tell me to move to one or the other because of a football team, I just have a feeling someone was going to go that route. Thanks!

Go to Chicago because the Packers suck...hahahaha just kidding I just couldnt resist!!!

I might be a little biased here because I love Chicago...but I do think that if you are looking for jobs etc then that is where you need to be. Yes the crime is higher in some areas but there are also some very nice parts of Chicago. Plus there are more opportunities there and some great things for children.

In the end no one can tell you what is best for your family. Do your research and follow your heart! Good luck!

I am from Chicago and I love it!Yes,there are more jobs here and a lot more things to do and see compared to WI!
And yes,in some areas there is more crime,but you are not going to go there!Chicago all so has wonder full suburbs,perfect for raising a family!In fact one of my favorite is Naperville IL.It is around 45 min. drive from the city and it is in the top 3 best places to live in the US,because of the great schools they have.So,I hope you make the best choise for you!:)
