Moving to arizona from Wisconsin in june need help!!?

So, my girlfriend and i are moving to az in june from WI, and are wondering where in az to move. We want an upscale area, no crime, but yet with fun things to do... We are 21 and 26 and we want nice places to eat, shopping, go out, etc... So far we have been looking into gilbert, chandler, scottsdale, area and are curious if this area will be a fit. I personally like the idea of scottsdale and how nice and trendy it is but if its crazy pricey im not sure we will be able to afford it as we want to rent a house. Also how truly unbearable is the weather? I am moving to az becuz i hate the winter here and all the rain and changing of the seasons. we like the sun and want it year round :) But moslty concerned with where to live.. have been also hearing about stayin more west of the valley to steer clear of crime and it is a better area?? But we will be working around the scottsdale/gilbert/chandler area so if that plays a role too.. Thanks for all your help :)

I went on vacation to AR. And phoenix was too hot and humid. But I went to my aunts house in Prescott AR its a nice town/city. Perfect weather, no humidty and not too hot. Malls,Outback Steakhouses, the works. Horses so yea. Nice Place
