For those of you who don't know what 76 is, let me enlighten you. It is the Daddy of them all. It's when a bunch of old and young drunks get together and try and tame some horses and bulls. One time we did, but hell, nobody was sober enough to remember when that was. hahaha

They call it, the Days of 76. There is no rodeo in the US that stacks up to this one. It draws the best. You really got to be somebody to make it to Cheyenne Frontier Days.

Two years ago a young cowboy rode out on a saddle bronc. When he hit the ground he dug in his pocket and threw some stuff out and covered it up. The announcer called him over and said, "What the hell was that?" He smiled with that old crooked smile and said, "Those were dad's ashes. He wanted to be planted here."

Yeah, Chris Ladeoux was spread by his son. He always said, "This is home." Well Chris, it is now, for better or worse. Kaycee was home of his ranch, Cheyenne was the home of his love. Turny go Chris. Turny go.
